-Space is limited!! There are 51 selling spaces available! Please check the map page for a layout of the building. You need to call me if you are interested in a spot. To be sure to get a space please contact me as soon as possible! Different sizes are different prices ( between $65 and $85). To hold your spot you will need to either paypal or mail the fee to me. Once received your spot will then be held.
If spaces are not paid in advance, it is 1st come 1st serve day of, I WILL NOT hold a space without payment anymore. sorry!!
-Temporary Tax permits are no longer being issued. To sell you MUST have a permanent tax number. IF you do not show me your number I can not let you sell. (sorry, state rules) Go to hhtps://tax.iowa.gov/please-read-you-register-your-business OR you can call 515-282-3114 or 1-800-367-3388. Thanks!!
-Each vendor will be listed on the vendor page with your space number, that way shoppers will know ahead of time where you will be and what space number you will be at. This should make it easy for everyone.
-Items acceptable for sale? Pretty much anything! No pets allowed in building, no smoking and no alcohol. Other than that you can sell antiques, furniture, clothing, household, home based businesses, jewelry, food, anything you would see at a flea market :)
- Venders with home based businesses: only one of each of these business will be allowed. No more allowed at this point. Home based businesses can bring up to 2 tables. ($40)
- Vendors who have committed and paid for a spot. We do expect you to come, I do not want last minute backouts and empty spaces. We want this hall to be full for a great shopping experience. Also I do not want to have to turn people away to then be left without a spot filled. So PLEASE, if you commit plan on being there. There are no refunds. If you decide you can not come, please let me know asap, you will automatically forfeit your booth space/rent, if you the original buyer can not fill it. I will not allow you to sell your booth.
-set up time for vendors will be Friday morning 7 am to 12 noon. Early drop off: Thursday evening 6pm to 7pm for drop off only. Please do NOT come before that I am busy setting hall up. And the window is one hour only. You must be ready to sell by noon as that is when the doors open for selling.
- NO tables provided anymore!! you MUST bring tables and shelves to best showcase your items. All spaces will definitely need more tables and items to make that barrier between buyers, so be planning ahead of time. No chairs provided! Bring your own. You must also pick up any bigger items on the floor that a vacuum can not pick up.
- You MUST set booths up with tables and barriers between each vendor. We want each vendor to have their own space and have customers walking in the walkways, not through booths. Shoppers may walk into your space but we don't want them walking right through yours to your neighbors.
- Each vendor is to keep their items within their space. Each space will be marked off with tape so you will clearly know where your space is.
- Please when unloading do not block the front of the building/door way. Also be prepared with carts/dollies/etc. as you can not drive in to unload and there will be no extra help. Bring your own help.
-VENDORS MUST MOVE VEHICLES BY 11:30. Once you are unloaded, vendors MUST move their vehicles. You can NOT park in front of Millers True Value or in front of The Centre, you can park over to the south in front of the strip mall but out near the highway. We must leave the parking in front of our venue open for the customers. I had several customers complain about this. We must do a better job at this. If it looks like you did not move your vehicle when I make the rounds, it will be towed at your expense. So please lets be courteous to the shoppers so they don't have to walk a long ways. Thanks!!
-We will sell Friday 12 noon to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm. Each vendor is required to be at your space and be ready to sell those hours, there will be no closing early or coming late. Tear down is Saturday 3pm to 6pm. This time there will be ABSOLUTELY no picking up and packing before 3pm. This did happen this past time and we still actually had shoppers in the hall and it just looks bad. If we advertise until 3, we WILL sell until 3. This is being strictly enforced. Thanks! If you are caught picking up early there will be a $20 charge. If I see you packing I will come to you and ask for the $20 and then you will not be asked back. You will leave your space as you found it, all litter to be picked up, bigger pieces on floor must be picked up. Table must be folded and leaned against the north wall of the center. If you are not able to this, please have someone to help you do this.
-Friday night we are open until 6pm, all vendors will need to be ready to go and out the door by 6:15 ish. I will lock the door after the last person is out. Your items will be safe until the next day. You are welcome to get insurance for your items if you wish as The Centre nor I or any of my staff will be held responsible for your items, lost, broken or stolen.
-Saturday morning the doors will be unlocked at 8:30 am
- If you decide to come, you have 10 days to get your payment to me to hold your spot. If payment is not received your space is back up for grabs.
- Sorry for all the rules, but if we all know what to expect beforehand it keeps the unexpected from happening and we can all work together to make this a great experience!
